If the sun would always shine

I've finally managed to fit in some time to carry on with my book. Here is a double page spread as a 'taster'.
For those of you who don't know, I recently wrote and illustrated a poetry book, based on child cruelty and neglect. It was my final project for my art foundation last year, and I completed the artwork over the summer. I'm not sure where the project is going to go from here, but I would at least like to send it off for printing so that I can give a copy to the little girl who played the part of my character at the very beginning of the project.

So... If the sun would always shine...

I hide here in the corner of
My Ballet class at four.
They'd see what Daddy's done to me
If I move away from the door.
